Vesting the Control of the Six-mile Creek Travelling-stock Reserve in the Waimea County Council.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of July, 1940.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for a resting-place for travelling stock: And whereas it is expedient that the control of the said reserve should be vested in the Waimea County Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Waimea County Council.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
Section 5, Block XV, Motupiko Survey District: Area, 10 acres, more or less.

Recreation Reserves in Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of August, 1940.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserves for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserves shall hereafter form part of the Ngatea Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Ngatea Domain Board.

Setting aside Native Land as a Native Reservation.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of July, 1940.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
PURSUANT to section five of the Native Purposes Act, 1937, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby set apart and reserve the Native freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, upon which the caves known as the Rua Hoata Caves are situated, as a Native reservation for the common use of the Native owners thereof, as a place of historical interest.

Delegating Powers under the Cemeteries Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of July, 1940.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Cemeteries Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby delegate to the Council of the County of Waimea the powers conferred on him by section four of the said Act of appointing and removing trustees in respect of the Moutere Hills Cemetery as described in the Schedule hereto.

MOUTERE HILLS CEMETERY.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District containing by admeasurement 29 acres 0 roods 7 perches, more or less, being Section 115, Moutere Hills District, Block XVI, Motueka Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 194/2/230, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Health, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Fixing the Date and Place for Payment of Land-tax and Income-tax under the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1940.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 31st day of July, 1940.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority vested in him under the Land and Income Tax Act, 1923, and the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1940, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and determine that the respective duties leviable under the said Acts by way of land-tax and income-tax shall be paid on the days and dates set forth hereunder:—
Land-tax under section 2 of the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1940: In one sum on Tuesday, the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty.
Income-tax under section 3 of the Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1940: In one sum on Wednesday, the twelfth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-one.
And, in further pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority aforesaid, and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, His Excellency doth also determine that the place where the said duties of land-tax and income-tax shall be payable shall be the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Wellington, and that notice to the aforegoing effect shall be given by the said Commissioner accordingly.
