ESTATE OF CHARLES BAGLEY.
SCHEME UNDER THE RELIGIOUS, CHARITABLE, AND EDUCATIONAL TRUSTS ACT, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Trustee of the Dominion of New Zealand, the trustee of the estate of Charles Bagley, late of Auckland, Gentleman, deceased, has prepared a scheme under Part III of the Religious, Charitable, and Educational Trusts Act, 1908, for the disposal of part of a residuary bequest and devise under the will of the said deceased for the erection, furnishing, and maintenance for all time of alms-houses on a parcel of land forming part of the residuary estate of the said deceased fronting Beckham Place and Grafton Road in the City of Auckland, which scheme has been submitted to the Attorney-General in terms of the said Act.
Application for approval of the scheme will be made to a Judge of the Supreme Court at Wellington on Friday, the 23rd August, 1940, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon. Copies of the scheme, with the report of the Solicitor-General endorsed thereon, may be inspected, free of charge, at the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Wellington, and at the office of the Solicitor to the Public Trust Office, Wellington.

RECEIVER APPOINTED.
Creditors' Voluntary Winding Up.
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a meeting of the creditors of Duraboards Limited, will be held at the company's registered office, Rifle Range Road, Frankton, on Monday, 19th day of August, 1940, at 11.30 o'clock in the forenoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company's affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be liquidator of the company, and, in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed at a meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council held on the 10th day of July, 1940:
"That, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Ohinemuri County Council hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the erection of dwellings under the Rural Housing Act, 1939, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 13/32d. (thirteen thirty-seconds pence) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Rural Housing Loan Special Rating Area comprising the whole of the County of Ohinemuri; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 8th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off."
