a road: 5 acres 2 roods 34 perches.
Being portion of Rangitaiki Parish Lot 41A.
Situated in Block XIII, Whakatane Survey District;
coloured red. (N.L.C. plan 16042.)

SECOND SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as
a road: 11 acres 1 rood 18 perches.
Being portion of Rangitaiki Parish Lot 41B.
Situated in Block XIII, Whakatane Survey District;
and Blocks I and II, Waimana Survey District;
coloured yellow. (N.L.C. plan 16042.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.
and S. 16/2590, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under
No. 2878, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal
of that Dominion, this 24th day of July, 1940.

Land set apart as an Addition to a Reserve for Historic Purposes.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section nine
of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924,
I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from
and after the date hereof the land comprised in the pieces of closed road
described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area adjacent to or
intersecting the reserve for historic purposes, described in the Second
Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said reserve.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement
16 acres 0 roods 17·5 perches, more or less, being Allotment 8,
Waitangi Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 4/417A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan S.O. 28159.)

SECOND SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTIONS 9 to 13 (inclusive), Waitangi Parish, containing together
30 acres 2 roods 30·75 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day
of July, 1940.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section nine
of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the piece of closed road
described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the Clifton
No. 2 Domain described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added
to the said Clifton No. 2 Domain.

SECTION 1, Block V, Clive Survey District: Area, 3 acres 2 roods 14 perches,
more or less.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—CLIFTON NO. 2 DOMAIN.

ALL that area containing 12 acres 1 rood 32 perches, more or less, situated
in Block II, Kidnapper Survey District, being part of Block 2A, Kidnapper Crown
Grant District, and being also Lots 1 and 2 on Deposited Plan No. 6509

together with the water rights and incidental rights appurtenant thereto

over the parts coloured blue on the said plan and thereon marked “Pipe-line Easement”
and “Tank” and “Spring” (part of Block 2A, Kidnapper Crown Grant District,
Hawke's Bay, Volume 59, folio 283) created in and by Transfer 66625.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by
section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described
in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Bay of Islands County,
containing by admeasurement 339 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, being part
of Section 1s, Puketi Settlement, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Kaeo Survey District,
and bounded generally as follows: Towards the south-east by Section 4s, a public road,
and Section 3s, Puketi Settlement; and towards the north-west by a permanent State
forest (Gazette 1927, page 2778, and Gazette 1933, page 3403); save and excepting an
intersecting public road. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 5/26,
deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red. (North Auckland plan S.O. 30755.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of
July, 1940.

by admeasurement 1,325 acres 1 rood 23 perches, more or less, situated in Blocks I
and V, Taungata Survey District, being Lot 2 on the plan deposited in the office
of the Chief Surveyor under No. 46/6, and also being part of Section 18, Block V,
Taungata Survey District, and part of Waihoanga No. lc Block, and bounded generally
as follows: Towards the south-east by another part of Waihoanga No. lc Block and
Section 19, Block V aforesaid; towards the south and south-east by Lot 1 on the aforesaid
plan; towards the south-west by a road along the Otaki River; towards the north-west
by Section 17, Block V aforesaid, and another part of Waihoanga No. lc Block; and
towards the north-east by Section 71, Block I aforesaid. As the same is more particularly
delineated on plan No. 89/14, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service
at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of
July, 1940.
