Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.

PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, Walter Nash, Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land, defined as aforesaid, to be a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby declare that this notice shall take effect on the 1st day of August, 1940.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH HOKIANGA BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.

ALL that area of land situated within the Hokianga County and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the southern boundary of Block IX, Maungataniwha Survey District, crosses the Hokianga County boundary to the west of the Mangamuka River; thence continuing in a south-easterly direction in a straight line across country to the junction of the roads shown on the survey map of the Hokianga County as Kauaepepe Road and Mangataipa Road which lies in the south-west corner of Block XIV, Maungataniwha Survey District; thence from this junction continuing in a straight line across country in a generally south-westerly direction to the Rahuirapa Trig. Station in the northern portion of Block V, Mangamuka Survey District, and lying to the east of the Upper Kohukohu–Broadwood Road; thence from this point continuing in a straight line across country in a south-easterly direction to the northern boundary of Old Land Claim 65 near the foreshore of the Town District of Kohukohu; thence continuing up-stream in a generally north-easterly direction along the Waihou River to meet the Hokianga County boundary at the junction of the said river with the Waipapa River; thence continuing along the Hokianga County boundary in a generally northerly and then westerly direction to the point where the southern boundary of Block IX, Maungataniwha Survey District, crosses the said county boundary to the west of the Mangamuka River, being the original point of commencement.

ALL that area of land situated within the Patea County and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the southern boundary of Block V, Opaku Survey District, crosses Patea County boundary at the Tarere Trig. Station; thence continuing in an easterly direction along the southern boundaries of Blocks V and VI, Opaku Survey District, to meet the Patea River; thence continuing down-stream along the Patea River to the sea-coast and proceeding along the sea-coast in a generally north-westerly direction to the mouth of the Manawapou River; thence from this point continuing in a generally north-easterly direction along the Patea County boundary mainly formed by the Manawapou River to the point where the southern boundary of Block V, Opaku Survey District, intersects the said county boundary at the Tarere Trig. Station, being the original point of commencement.

ALL that area of land embraced by the cream-collection area of the Bay of Islands Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, as set out in the following zoning orders of the Executive Commission of Agriculture, namely, Nos. 12, 13, 17, and 20, dated the 9th March, 1937, No. 12 (a) dated the 5th May, 1937, No. 13 (a) dated 24th May, 1937, and No. 13 (b) dated the 9th July, 1940, but excluding any area which may be included therein and which is already included within any Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area gazetted prior to the date of this notice.
