Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council
changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Rangitoto
Survey District, North Auckland Land District.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by subsection one (a) of section seven
of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the said
Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may,
from time to time by Order in Council, change the
purpose of any public reserve or part thereof, and
thereafter such reserve or part, as the case may be,
shall be held and administered for such changed
purpose:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule
hereto is a reserve duly set apart for recreation
purposes, and it is expedient to change the purpose
of the reservation over the said land from recreation
purposes to a reserve for a public-school site:

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount
Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby give notice, pursuant to subsection
two of section seven of the said Act, that it is my
intention to issue an Order in Council under the
provisions of subsection one (a) of section seven of
the said Act, declaring that the reservation for recrea-
tion purposes over the land described in the Schedule
hereto shall be changed to a reserve for a public-school
site.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 28708, being part of Section 1,
Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District: Area, 9.7
perches, more or less.

General, this 22nd day of July, 1940.
