Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Kumeroa Domain.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of July, 1940.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

William James Joseph Miller,
Walter Charles Arrow,
William Henry Toogood,
Ian Robert MacKay,
Arthur Edward East,
Edward William Norman,
James Little,
Alfred Ramsden, and
Claude Mackie

to be the Kumeroa Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Kumeroa Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, being Section 1, Block V, Village of Kumeroa, Tahoraité Survey District.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Tokirima Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of July, 1940.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

John Penny,
Alexander Finlayson McKenzie,
Herbert Johnson,
Thomas Henry Grant,
Richard Howard,
Edwin Harry French, and
Arthur George Tibby

to be the Tokirima Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fourteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Tokirima Soldiers’ Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.—TOKIRIMA DOMAIN.

SECTION 39, Block XIV, Ohura Survey District: Area, 18 acres 2 roods, more or less.

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 37 acres 0 roods 6·1 perches and 2 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being the western and eastern portions respectively of Section 23, Block XIV, Ohura Survey District.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/546A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

The Western Side of Portion of St. George’s Bay Road, in the City of Auckland, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of July, 1940.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty (in so far as it affects the side and portion of street described in the Schedule hereto), viz. :—

“ The Auckland City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to that portion of St. George’s Bay Road adjoining part of Allotments 76 and 77, Section 1, Suburbs of Auckland, comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 536, folio 145 ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the western side of the portion of St. George’s Bay Road (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

SCHEDULE.

THE western side of all that portion of street situated in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, known as St. George’s Bay Road, fronting Lot 3 of a subdivision of Allotments 76 and 77 of Section 1, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 107698, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

The Southern Side of Devon Street West, in the Borough of Rotorua, exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of July, 1940.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Rotorua Borough Council on the twenty-second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty, viz. :—

“ That the Rotorua Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the Borough of Rotorua, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the south side of that street known as Devon Street West adjoining Sections 47 and 49, Rotorua Suburbs ” ;

subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of Devon Street West (described in the Schedule hereto) within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street.

SCHEDULE.

THE southern side of all that street, situated in the Auckland Land District, Borough of Rotorua, known as Devon Street West, fronting Sections 47 and 49, Block IV, Horohoro Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106666, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
