A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 11·2 perches.

Being Lots 170, 171, and 172, and part Lot 173, being part Section 3, Omaka.

Situated in the Town of Blenheim. (Borough of Blenheim.)

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 107512, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of July, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 21 perches.

Being part Section 17, Glenmark Settlement.

Situated in Block XVI, Waikari Survey District (Canterbury R.D.). (S.O. 7206.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106872, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of July, 1940.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105870, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of July, 1940.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105517, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of July, 1940.
