RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

Kopua Camping-grounds Loan, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the half-yearly instalments of principal and interest and other loan charges on a loan of £1,550, authorized to be raised by the Raglan County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of laying out a camping-ground and children's play area on the Kopua Reserve, Raglan, erecting any necessary buildings and equipment thereon and surveying and roading the area, the said Raglan County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of .021d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the County of Raglan; such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during, the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct extract from the minutes of a special meeting of the Raglan County Council held on the 10th July, 1940.

CAR MAINTENANCE, LIMITED.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of CAR MAINTENANCE, LIMITED (in Voluntary Liquidation).

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 300 of the Companies Act, 1933, that a minute was signed for the purpose of becoming an entry in the minute-book of Car Maintenance, Limited, on the 10th July, 1940, that the company goes into voluntary liquidation, and, that a meeting of the creditors of the said company will be held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the office of P. C. Browne, Public Accountant, 213 Manchester Street, Christchurch, on Friday, the 19th day of July, 1940, at 10.30 a.m., at which meeting a full statement of the position of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a person to be a liquidator of the company, and in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a committee of inspection.
