NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of members held on the 8th day of July, 1940, the following special resolution was passed:-

(1) That it is expedient to effect an amalgamation of this company with Wonder Distributors, Limited, and with a view thereto Mineral Supply Company, Limited, be wound up voluntarily.
(2) That HECTOR VIVIAN JOHN REES, be, and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.

In the matter of Application No. 56/1940 by JAMES ALEXANDER MURDOCH, of Hokitika, Solicitor, for a License for a Water-race.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Mining Act, 1926, and its amendments, notice is hereby given of the above-mentioned Application No. 56/1940 by James Alexander Murdoch for a license for a water-race situate in Block XIV, Waimea Survey District, and affecting Section No. 717, held under Regulation License No. 324. And, further, notice is hereby given that the hearing of the above application will take place at the Warden's Court, Hokitika, on Wednesday, the 7th day of August, 1940.

B., University of Edinburgh, 1913, Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene of the Royal Colleges, England, 1925, now residing in Auckland, hereby give notice that I intend applying on the 10th August next to have my name placed on the Medical Register of the Dominion of New Zealand; and that I have deposited the evidence of my qualification in the office of the Department of Health at Auckland.
