Dental Officer, Mobilization Camp, Burnham. Dated

Graham Crossley to be Lieutenant and is appointed Orderly
Officer to the Chief of the General Staff, and Assistant
Cypher Officer, Army Headquarters, Wellington. Dated
13th June, 1940.

Lieutenant D. P. Melville ceases to be posted to the 2nd
Cadet Battalion and is posted to the 1st Battalion, with

to approve of the following appointments, promotions,
and transfers of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces:

STAFF.

Major J. N. Henry, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the
appointment of Assistant Adjutant and Quartermaster-
General, Central Military District, and is appointed
Assistant Quartermaster-General, Central Military Dis-
trict, Wellington. Dated 4th June, 1940.

Lieutenant and Quartermaster A. Holmes, N.Z. Permanent
Staff, is appointed Adjutant, Queen Alexandra’s (Wel-
lington West Coast) Mounted Rifles. Dated 13th June,
1940.

Lieutenant P. H. Brooks, 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary Force,
is appointed Weapon Training Instructor, Training
Cadre, Mobilization Camp, Trentham. Dated 14th
March, 1940.

2nd Lieutenant B. R. Henderson, 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary
Force, is appointed Infantry Instructor, Training Cadre,
Mobilization Camp, Trentham. Dated 14th March, 1940.

N.Z. TEMPORARY STAFF.

Roland Foster Gruar (late Indian Army) to be Captain,
and is posted to the Camp Instructional Staff, Mobilization
Camp, Trentham. Dated 4th June, 1940.

Captain R. F. Gruar ceases to be posted to the Camp
Instructional Staff, Mobilization Camp, Trentham, and
is appointed General Staff Officer, 2nd Grade, Central
Military District, Wellington. Dated 17th June, 1940.

Captain J. L. Muir, M.C., relinquishes the appointment of
Instructor, Northern Military District School of In-
struction, and is appointed Weapon Training Instructor,
Training Cadre, Mobilization Camp, Papakura. Dated
18th March, 1940.

Lieutenant H. H. Shaw, Reserve of Officers, Supplementary
List, to be Lieutenant, and is appointed M.T. Instructor,
Training Cadre, Mobilization Camp, Papakura. Dated

Thomas Arthur Hood Oliphant, M.C. (late Imperial Army),
