Lieutenant Gillespie Hume Edwards, Royal Naval Reserve (New Zealand), appointed to H.M.S. “Philomel” additional, for H.M.S. “Monowai,” to date 21st June, 1940, and to H.M.S. “Monowai” on commissioning.
Lieutenant Douglas William Blacklaws, Royal Naval Reserve (New Zealand), appointed to H.M.S. “Philomel” additional, for H.M.S. “Monowai,” to date 21st June, 1940, and to H.M.S. “Monowai” on commissioning.
Lieutenant John Leslie Watson, Royal Naval Reserve (New Zealand), appointed to H.M.S. “Philomel” additional, for duty with the Staff Officer of Operations, Wellington, to date 21st June, 1940.

Captain G. H. Heal, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of General Staff Officer, 3rd Grade (Signals), Army Headquarters, Wellington, on being seconded for duty with the 2nd N.Z. Expeditionary Force. Dated 31st May, 1940.
Captain E. J. Horwood, M.Sc., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Instructor, Army School of Instruction, Trentham, and is appointed General Staff Officer, 3rd Grade (Signals), Army Headquarters, Wellington. Dated 1st June, 1940.
Captain W. Pollard, Regiment of Royal N.Z. Artillery, relinquishes the appointment of District Artillery Officer, Southern Military District, and is appointed Officer Commanding, Artillery Training Regiment, Mobilization Camp, Papakura. Dated 1st May, 1940.
Lieutenant I. A. Murray, N.Z. Staff Corps, is appointed Adjutant, Brigaded Units, Mobilization Camp, Trentham. Dated 13th April, 1940.
Lieutenant and Quartermaster W. L. Glanville, N.Z. Permanent Staff, is appointed Quartermaster, No. 1 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Burnham. Dated 8th June, 1940.
Lieutenant and Quartermaster H. D. Hunt, N.Z. Permanent Staff, is appointed Quartermaster, No. 2 Training Battalion, Mobilization Camp, Burnham. Dated 12th June, 1940.
Lieutenant A. J. D. Morten, N.Z. Temporary Staff, is appointed Assistant Area Officer (temporary), No. 10 Area, Christchurch, in addition to his appointment of Adjutant, The Canterbury Yeomanry Cavalry. Dated 12th June, 1940.
Lieutenant F. N. Armstrong, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointments of Adjutant, 1st Battalion, The Otago Regiment and Dunedin Company, The New Zealand Scottish Regiment, Dunedin, and is appointed Assistant Instructor, Southern Military District School of Instruction, Burnham. Dated 13th June, 1940.
Captain R. H. Cleland, N.Z. Temporary Staff, relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Area Officer, No. 11 Area, and is appointed Adjutant, 1st Battalion, The Otago Regiment and Dunedin Company, The New Zealand Scottish Regiment, Dunedin. Dated 13th June, 1940.
Captain E. E. Lloyd, N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Adjutant, Mobilization Camp, Burnham, and is appointed General Staff Officer, 2nd Grade, Southern Military District, Christchurch. Dated 17th June, 1940.
Lieutenant and Quartermaster J. J. Fitzgerald, N.Z. Permanent Staff, is appointed Weapon Training Instructor, Training Cadre, Mobilization Camp, Burnham. Dated 21st May, 1940.
Major W. W. Dove, M.C., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Assistant Adjutant and Quartermaster-General, Northern Military District, and is appointed General Staff Officer, 2nd Grade, Northern Military District, Auckland. Dated 18th June, 1940.
Captain C. A. Herman, N.Z. Temporary Staff, relinquishes the appointment of Deputy Assistant Adjutant-General, Northern Military District, is appointed Assistant Adjutant-General, Northern Military District, Auckland, and is granted the temporary rank of Major. Dated 18th June, 1940.
Captain R. S. Halliwell, M.C., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of Deputy Assistant Quartermaster-General, Northern Military District, is appointed Assistant Quartermaster-General, Northern Military District, Auckland, and is granted the temporary rank of Major. Dated 18th June, 1940.
Lieutenant and Quartermaster G. W. O’Sullivan, N.Z. Permanent Staff, is appointed Assistant Quartermaster, Mobilization Camp, Trentham. Dated 21st May, 1940.
Lieutenant and Quartermaster F. A. Wetherall, Regiment of Royal N.Z. Artillery, is appointed Deputy Assistant Quartermaster-General, Northern Military District, Auckland. Dated 18th June, 1940.
Captain C. N. Devery, D.C.M., N.Z. Temporary Staff, relinquishes the appointment of Deputy Assistant Adjutant-General, Central Military District, is appointed Assistant Adjutant-General, Central Military District, Wellington, and is granted the temporary rank of Major while so employed. Dated 3rd June, 1940.
