To its limit at the north-eastern corner of Block I aforesaid;
thence on the east generally by the line forming the eastern
boundary of Blocks I, V, and IX, Waitahu Survey District,
to its intersection with the northern bank of the Big River;
thence along the said northern bank to its intersection with
the boundary of the Grey Electric-power District as described
in New Zealand Gazette 1935, page 2060; thence on the south
generally by the said boundary of the Grey Electric-power
District aforesaid, to its intersection in the Otututu or Rough
River with the boundary of the outer area of the Grey Electric-
power District, as first referred to herein, and thence toward
the west by that boundary to the point of commencement.
The same being more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D.
107577, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington; and thereon bordered red.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and
I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the twenty-second day of July, one thousand nine
hundred and forty.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart:
2 roods 1:3 perches.
Being part Lot 1 on D.P. 29103, being part Allotment 10,
Section 9, Suburbs of Auckland.
Situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District (City of

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 107562, deposited in the office of the Minister of

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the Public Works
Act, 1928, as amended by section sixty-two of the
Statutes Amendment Act, 1939, and of every other
power and authority in anywise enabling me in this
behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that an easement is
hereby taken over the land described in the Schedule
hereto vesting in His Majesty the King full and free
liberty, right, license, and authority in perpetuity to
construct and use a right of way, with the right for
His Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from
time to time and at all times hereafter to go, pass,
and repass, with or without horses or other animals or
vehicles over the said land and to maintain, repair,
and keep open the said right of way; and I do also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the twenty-second day of July, one thousand
nine hundred and forty.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land over which an
easement is taken: 1 acre 3 roods 21.4 perches.
Being part Matakaoa Block.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted
pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908
(hereinafter referred to as "the said Act"), has recommended
that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be
permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient
to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said
Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described
in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the
said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Inangahua County, containing by
admeasurement 4,612 acres, more or less, and being part
Section 2, Square 182, situated in Block IV, Lewis Survey
District, and Block I, Travers Survey District. As the same
is more particularly delineated on plan No. 9112, deposited
in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Nelson, a copy of which
is deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, under No. L. and S. 22/2360A, and
thereon in outline bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of
July, 1940.

and prescribing the Conditions thereof.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 10th day of
July, 1940.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS by Order in Council made on the twenty-
eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and
twenty-six, consent was given to the raising by the Mount
Albert Borough Council (hereinafter called “the said local
authority”) of the sum of five hundred and thirty-seven
thousand five hundred pounds (£537,500) by a loan to be
known as “Roading Loan, 1926,” of which the sum of
seventy-three thousand two hundred pounds (£73,200) has
not been borrowed, and of the sum of two hundred thousand
pounds (£200,000) by a loan to be known as “Drainage
Loan, 1926,” of which the sum of ten thousand pounds
(£10,000) has not been borrowed (hereinafter called “the
said loans”):
And whereas by section nine of the Local Authorities
Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act,
1934, the consent given by the said Order in Council was
