NOTICE is hereby given that the lease of the undermentioned land, having been declared forfeit by resolution of the Marlborough Land Board, the said land has thereby reverted to the Crown under the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

Education Reserve in North Auckland Land District for Lease by Public Auction.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned education reserve will be offered for lease by public auction at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, at 2.30 o’clock p.m. on Tuesday, 13th August, 1940, under the provisions of the Education Reserves Act, 1928, and the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—EDUCATION RESERVE.
Auckland City.

Lots 1 and 3, D.P. 18143, part Allotment 18, Section 40, City of Auckland: Area, 15·4 perches. Upset annual rental, £81 5s.

Weighted with £1,950 for improvements, comprising two-storied brick building, containing two shops with living-accommodation and one lock-up shop. This sum is payable in cash, or, after payment of a deposit of £100, the balance may be paid by forty half-yearly instalments of £64 15s., comprising principal and interest, the amount outstanding at the end of twenty years (estimated at £605) to be paid then in cash.

Situated at corner of Hobson and Wellington Streets, Auckland City, and comprising: (a) corner shop with store-room, sitting-room, kitchenette, three bedrooms, bathroom, and backyard; (b) shop with sitting-room, kitchen, three bedrooms, bathroom, and backyard; (c) lock-up shop; (d) vacant section with frontage to Hobson Street. Town Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 2nd July, 1940.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned section is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 11 o’clock a.m. on Monday, 29th July, 1940.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 31st July, 1940, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, and lease fee.

Te Kuiti Borough.—Orahiri Survey District.

SECTION 30, Block XV: Area, 1 rood 0·9 perches. Capital value, £30; half-yearly rent, 15s.

This is a residential site on Mangarino Road, one mile and a half from Te Kuiti Post-office and Railway station. Section has an elevated position and overlooks the town.
