Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License
under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.

Taking of Fish for Sale.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been
received from D. Terry, French Pass, for a license
to take fish for sale at French Pass by means of the fishing
vessel “Gale” using set and drag nets and long and hand
lines.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the
undersigned not later than the 18th July, 1940.

Manufacture of Footwear.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been
received from A. Pitkethley, Auckland, on behalf of
himself and A. Henry, for the consent of the Bureau to a
transfer of the license at present held by W. H. G. Lathrope,
Auckland, covering the manufacture of up to 300 pairs of
men’s footwear per annum by the “machine-sewn” method,
and to an extension of the scope of this license to cover
the manufacture of men’s, women’s, children’s, boys’, maids’,
and youths’ footwear and sandals, and the use of the “fair-
stitch” and “machine-sewn” methods.

Any person who considers he will be materially affected
by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application
and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must
furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the
undersigned not later than the 18th July, 1940.
