Election of Member of Taranaki Land Board.

I, ALLAN FRANCIS WATERS, Returning Officer for
the election of a member of the Taranaki Land Board
in accordance with the provisions of section 47 of the Land
Act, 1924, and the regulations made thereunder, do hereby
declare that the only person nominated to fill the vacancy
occurring on the said Board was
Charles James Ryan, of Ohura.
And I do hereby declare that the said Charles James Ryan
is duly elected a member of the Taranaki Land Board for
a term of two years as from the 16th day of August, 1940.

Result of Election in the Northern Ward.
I, LEONARD IRWIN, Returning Officer appointed under
section 19 of the Agriculture (Emergency Powers)
Act, 1934, do hereby declare the result of the election in the
Northern Ward for a member of the New Zealand Dairy
Board, which closed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, the 26th June,
1940, to be as follows:—
