Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Broadlands Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of June, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Reginald Joseph Henry Richards,
John Walker Bell,
William Wilson Bell,
Levi Bunn,
Oliver Penny Quintal,
Richard James Wilkinson, and
Norman Marwe Rye
to be the Broadlands Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the fifteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at seven-thirty o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Broadlands School, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

BROADLANDS DOMAIN.—AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Lot 15, D.P. 28027, being part Kaingaroa No. 2 West No. 1 Block, Block II, Takapau Survey District: Area, 10 acres 1 rood 10 perches, more or less.

Frank Edward Martyn,

Eric Snow McPhail,
Alfred Buckingham, and
Herbert George Parish
to be the Rangiora Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Borough Council Chambers, Rangiora, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—RANGIORA DOMAIN.
Reserve 132, Block VI, Rangiora Survey District: Area, 10 acres, more or less.

to be the Pukeatua Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the sixth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty, at two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Pukeatua Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Lyndon Survey District, Canterbury Land District.
GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of June, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms portion of a reserve duly set apart for public purposes:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for buildings of the General Government:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of that portion of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for public purposes to a reserve for buildings of the General Government.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—PART HANMER THERMAL-SPRINGS RESERVE.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 13·2 perches, more or less, and being part of Reserve 3942, situated in Block II, Lyndon Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the east by Conical Hill Road, 87·03 links; towards the south-east by Section 6B 2, Hanmer Plains Reserve, 596·0 links; towards the south-west by Jacks Pass Road, 39·47 links; and towards the north-west and north generally by other part of Reserve 3942, 221·65 links, 70·0 links, 155·76 links, 96·61 links, and 263·75 links. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/796D, deposited in Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
