31st May, 1940, the following special resolutions were
passed :—

(2) That Messrs. Walter John Perkins and Patrick Bernard
Branton, of Blenheim, and Thomas Percival Neale, of Christ-
church, be, and are hereby appointed liquidators of the

the 10th day of June, 1940, passed the following special
resolution :—

  1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
  2. That in pursuance of section 233 of the Companies
    Act, 1933, Mr. G. L. POMFRET-DODD, of Christchurch, Public
    Accountant, be, and he is hereby nominated as liquidator
    of the company.

STEPHEN JOHN AVERY, of Sanson, Manawatu, New
Zealand, Dairy-farmer, and bearing date the 17th day
of June, 1924, in respect of “ Improvements in or relating
to Milking-machine Systems.”
NOTICE is hereby given that Friday, the 5th day of
July, 1940, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, has been
fixed by the Supreme Court of New Zealand as “ the appointed
day,” being the day before which the petition of the above-
named Stephen John Avery for an extension of the term of
the above-mentioned Letters Patent will not be heard.
The petitioner’s address for service is at the offices of

Notice of Meeting of Creditors.
NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in its minute-
book, Bowater and Bryan, Limited, on the 31st day of
May, 1940, passed a special resolution for voluntary winding
up. A meeting of creditors of the said company will be held,
pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act, 1933, at the
registered office of the company, No. 9 Wakefield Street,
Westport, on Friday, the 21st June, 1940, at 10 o’clock in
the forenoon, at which meeting a full statement of the position
of the company’s affairs, together with a list of the creditors
and of the estimated amount of their claims, will be laid
before the meeting, and at which meeting the creditors, in
pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may nominate a
person or persons to be liquidators of the company, and in
pursuance of section 236 of the said Act, may appoint a
committee of inspection.
