Appointment in the New Zealand Naval Forces.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve the following appointment in the New Zealand Naval Forces:—

Captain Edwin Grave Morris, Royal Navy (Retired), appointed to H.M.S. “Philomel” additional, as Director and Registrar of Naval Reserves (New Zealand) and for Naval Control Service and Port Duties at Wellington in continuation, and as Commanding Officer, Wellington Division of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, to date 2nd May, 1940 (to serve in the rank of Captain and receive a consolidated salary on the pre-existing scale fixed for the appointment of Director of Naval Reserves (A.F.O. 2139/39, footnote †)).
