Defining a Middle-line of a Road in Blocks XIV and XV,
Ohinemuri Survey District—viz., a Deviation of the Pokeno-Waihi Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Blocks XIV and XV, Ohinemuri Survey District—viz., a deviation of the Pokeno-Waihi Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE:

COMMENCING at a point on the Pokeno-Waihi Main Highway opposite Section 59, Waikino Township, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly and easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 35 chains and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Sections 57, 56, 55, 54, 53, 50B, 50A, 136, 49, 49A, 49B, 23, 51 (Waikino Domain), Waikino Township, Crown land, Block XIV, Ohinemuri Survey District, and Sections 69, 67, and 156, Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District—and terminating at a point on the said highway, which forms the south-east boundary of Section 156 aforesaid, and distant 16 chains approximately in a south-westerly direction from the junction of the road forming the northern boundary of Section 156 aforesaid; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 107679, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of June, 1940.

Land taken for a State Highway Depot in Block II, Whakatane Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a State highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 6 acres 1 rood 32 perches.

Being part Allotment 235A, Waimana Parish.

Situated in Block II, Whakatane Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30524.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105811, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of June, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106985, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of June, 1940.
