Additional Land at Pukerua Bay taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Foxton Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Foxton Railway to take further land at Pukerua Bay in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6139, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of June, 1940.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block III, Waitapu Survey District-viz., a Deviation of the No. 53 Richmond-Collingwood Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block III, Waitapu Survey District—viz., a deviation of the No. 53 Richmond-Collingwood Main Highway—shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the south-western boundary of Section 79, Square 13, Block III, Waitapu Survey District, and proceeding thence in a northerly and then a north-westerly direction generally for a distance of about 1414 links, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Section 79, Square 13, Block III, Waitapu Survey District—and terminating at a point on the north-western boundary of the said Section 79, Square 13, Block III, Waitapu Survey District; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Nelson Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 107404, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of June, 1940.
