NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry, under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions in respect of applications for licenses were made on the 3rd June, 1940.

Irvine and Stevenson's St. George Co., Ltd., Auckland To continue carrying on the industry of the canning of fruit and vegetables at Auckland Granted.
Manufacture of Paper-pulp and Paper-products.
P. Cropper, Auckland (on behalf of a company to be formed) To engage in the industry of “ the manufacture of paper-pulp or paper-products ” to the extent of manufacturing corrugated board, common tissues, and fibre-containing board, with plant designed primarily for the use of waste paper Declined.
