(2) The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said sum or any part thereof shall be such as shall not produce to the lender or lenders a rate exceeding four pounds (£4) per centum per annum.
(3) The said sum shall be free of principal repayments during the first two (2) years from the date of the borrowing thereof.
(4) Thereafter the said sum together with interest thereon shall be repaid by equal aggregate annual or half-yearly instalments extending over the balance of the term amounting to twenty-three (23) years.
(5) The payment of interest for the first two years and thereafter the payment of the instalments of principal and interest shall be made in New Zealand.
(6) No interest after the first year and no instalments of principal and interest shall be paid out of loan-moneys.
(7) The rate payable for brokerage, underwriting, and procurement fees in respect of the raising of the said sum or any part thereof shall not in the aggregate exceed one-half per centum of any amount raised.
(8) No moneys shall be borrowed under this consent after the expiration of two years from the date hereof.

Apportionment of Representation on the King Country Electric-power Board.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of June, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby determine with respect to the King Country Electric-power District, being an electric-power district duly constituted by Proclamation dated the fifteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 43 of the sixteenth day of the same month, that the number of representatives of each constituent district on the board of the said district shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district.

King Country Electric-power Board.—First Election.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of June, 1940.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint the sixteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and forty, as the day on which shall be held the first election of representatives of the constituent districts in the King Country Electric-power District, being an electric-power district duly constituted by Proclamation dated the fifteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 43 of the sixteenth day of the same month.
