A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in Titirangi Survey District, described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 27·3 perches. Adjoining Lot 30, D.P. 13120, being part Allotment 92, Waikomiti Parish.
Situated in Block VII, Titirangi Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30727.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106562, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of May, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road: 5·1 perches.
Being portion of Block VII; coloured red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 rood 28·7 perches.
Adjoining Crown land being Block VII; coloured green.
Situated in Town of Glenorchy. (S.O. plan 9153.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25/1300A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2876, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of June, 1940.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1636, set apart by Proclamation dated the fifteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the twenty-fourth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 20 acres 1 rood 18 perches, more or less, being portion of Reserve 1636 (provisional State forest), situated in Block X, Wataroa Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 3322, Block X, Wataroa Survey District, and proceeding in a north-westerly direction along the south-western boundary of Section 2668 for 3010·6 links; thence by right lines bearing 240° 33′ for 237·7 links; 181° 58′, 274·5 links; 152° 40′, 380·1 links; 188° 57′, 324·3 links; 158° 08′, 249·1 links; 185° 09′, 366·5 links; 155° 45′, 385·1 links; 156° 13′, 330·1 links; 140° 18′, 239·8 links; 120° 36′, 283·3 links; 153° 41′, 293·3 links; 178° 18′, 121·1 links, to the north-western boundary of Section 3322 aforesaid; thence in a north-easterly direction along that boundary for 793 links to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/98/104A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.
NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—NELSON FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, Murchison County, containing by admeasurement 510 acres, more or less, and being the western portion of Section 2, Block XIII, Hope Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 108/37, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of May, 1940.
