A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 22nd day of May, 1940.

Revoking Portion of a Proclamation taking Land for Broadcasting Purposes (Transmitter-site), Block XIII, Te Mata Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 34 of the fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-eight, at page 1061, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Napier as No. 1756, taking land for broadcasting purposes (transmitter-site), in Block XIII, Te Mata Survey District, as affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was taken.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land affected: 1 acre 0 roods 1·1 perches.
Being part Pukerowhitu 1B Block. (Broadcasting-station site.)
Situated in Block XIII, Te Mata Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 1931, red.)
In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106842, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 25th day of May, 1940.
