Establishment of a Boys’ Hostel.—Child Welfare Act, 1925.
IT is hereby notified that in pursuance of section 7 of the Child Welfare Act, 1925, premises situated at 44 Allendale Road, Mount Albert, Auckland, are deemed to be established as an institution within the meaning of the said Act, under the name of the Boys’ Hostel, Auckland.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Roads of Less Width than 66ft.
WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister of Lands it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plan of Town of Tahunanui Extension No. 2, affecting parts Sections 84 and 85, Subdivision South, Block III, Waimea Survey District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that the proposed roads shown thereon as Waitemate Street, Taieri Street, Rongotai Road, Inchbonnie Street, Omaka Road, and Arawata Road should be of widths of 66 ft.: Now, therefore, I, Frank Langstone, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section 17, subsection (1) of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of the proposed roads of a width of not less than 50 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such roads.
Given under my hand, this 6th day of May, 1940.
