This property is situated on the Wairere Settlement lying fourteen miles from Methven Township, and approximately three miles from Springburn Railway-station and School. Access is provided by fair shingle road. The land is watered by permanent streams and comprises flat to undulating and steep grazing country, part ploughable, with small areas of river flat and swamp, and scattered areas of birch bush and scrub; suitable for dairying and sheep-farming.
Special Condition: The right is reserved to the Stavely Defence Rifle Club to use the land at present occupied by the Club as a rifle range; the boundaries of the range are shown on a plan available for inspection at the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Christchurch.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.
EVIDENCE of the loss of Crown Lease, Vol. 647, folio 182 (Auckland Registry), for those parcels of land being Sections 61, 62, and 63 of Block XIII, of the Ohinemuri Survey District, whereof CLEMENT CYRIL O’BRIEN, of Karangahake, Farmer, is the registered lessee, having been lodged with me together with an application to issue a provisional lease in lieu thereof, notice is hereby given of my intention to issue such provisional lease accordingly upon the expiration of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

APPLICATION having been made to me to register a Surrender of Outstanding Lease No. 136645 affecting 25·6 perches, more or less, situate in the City of Wanganui, being part of the Whanganui Industrial School Reserve, and being also Lot 2 on a plan deposited in the Deeds Register Office at Wellington as No. 484, and being all the land described in Leasehold Certificate of Title, Vol. 371, folio 284 (Wellington Registry), of which SYDNEY SEYMOUR DUSTIN, of Wanganui, Merchant, is registered proprietor, and evidence having been lodged of the loss or destruction of the said Outstanding Lease No. 136645, I hereby give notice that it is my intention to dispense with production of the said outstanding lease under section 40 of the Land Transfer Act, 1915, and to register such surrender of outstanding lease as requested after fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.
