Additional Land at Croydon Road taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway, and for Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway to take further land at Croydon Road in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection therewith:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

FOR ROAD-DIVERSION.
Approximate area of the piece of land: 1 rood 5.81 perches. Part Allotment 143, Parish of Waikomiti.
Situated in Block III, Titirangi Survey District, Glen Eden Town District. (S.O. 30691.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6096, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green, blue, and yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of April, 1940.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Blocks I and II, Mataura Hundred.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for the Waitaki-Bluff Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette become road and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.
