NOTICE is hereby given that the final meeting of members of the company, pursuant to section 241 of the Companies Act, will be held at the office of the liquidator, 132 Trafalgar Street, Nelson, on Monday, 29th April, 1940, at 10.30 a.m., for the purpose of receiving liquidator’s accounts.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
—
Puhinui Water-supply Loan, 1939, £2,650.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers, if any, it thereunto enabling, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of £2,650, authorized to be raised by the Manukau County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of laying water-mains and doing all other things necessary for the supply of water and fire-fighting facilities to properties in the Puhinui Water-supply Special Rating Area in the Papatoetoe Riding of the County of Manukau, the Manukau County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nineteen thirty-seconds of a penny (19⁄32d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) on all rateable property in the Puhinui Water-supply Loan, 1939, Special Rating Area, being the Special Rating Area more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”
SCHEDULE.
All that area in the North Auckland Land District and County of Manukau, situated in Block X, Otahuhu Survey District, and bounded : Commencing at the intersection of the northern side of Puhinui Road with the eastern side of the Main Trunk Railway ; thence generally in a north-easterly direction by the boundary of the Papatoetoe Town District to the north-western corner of Lot 11 on D.P. 9047 ; thence generally in a south-easterly direction by the south-western boundary of the said Lot 11, to and across Allenby Road to the north-eastern corner of Lot 13 on D.P. 8814, and by the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 13 and 9, D.P. 8814, to and across Puhinui Road to the north-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 16810, and by the south-western boundary of the said Lot 1 to a point 250 links from the southern side of Puhinui Road ; thence westerly by a line parallel to the southern side of Puhinui Road, and distant 250 links therefrom, to the south-eastern corner of Lot 408, D.P. 21176 ; thence by a line along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 397-408 inclusive, to the south-western corner of Lot 397, by a right line to the south-eastern corner of Lot 378, and by the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 378, 377, and 376, D.P. 21176, to the south-western corner of the said Lot 376 ; thence by a right line to the south-eastern corner of Lot 275, D.P. 18037, and by the south-eastern boundary of the said lot to and across Plunkett Avenue to the north-eastern corner of Lot 233, D.P. 18037, and by the north-western boundaries of Lots 233 and 222 to and across Ranfurly Avenue to the south-eastern corner of Lot 3, D.P. 20037 ; thence by the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 3, 2, and 1, D.P. 20037, and Lots 34 to 49 inclusive, D.P. 18037, to and across Clendon Avenue to the south-eastern corner of Lot 4, D.P. 18630, and by the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 3 and 4, and the south-western boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 18630, to and across Puhinui Road to the point of commencement.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers, if any, it thereunto enabling, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
“ That, for the purpose of providing the interest, principal, and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Manukau County Council under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of laying water-mains and doing all other things necessary for the supply of water to properties in the East Tamaki Water-supply Extension Special Rating Area in the Papatoetoe Riding of the County of Manukau, the Manukau County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one and three thirty-seconds of a penny (1³⁄₃₂d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) on all rateable property in the East Tamaki Water-supply Extension Loan, 1939, Special Rating Area, being the Special Rating Area more particularly described in the Schedule hereto, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

All that area in the North Auckland Land District and County of Manukau, situated in Blocks VI and X, Otahuhu Survey District, and bounded : Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Lot 26, D.P. 21522 ; thence generally in a north-westerly direction by the boundary of the Papatoetoe Town District to its junction with the western boundary of Lot 14, D.P. 20840, and by the western boundaries of the said Lot 14, Kautami Avenue, and Lot 1, to the northern corner of the said Lot 1 ; thence towards the south-east generally by the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 1 to 13 inclusive, and Motatau Road to the north-eastern corner of Lot 26, all on D.P. 20840 ; thence by right lines parallel to East Tamaki Main Road, and distant 500 links from the northern side of the said road to the boundary between Lots 11 and 12, D.P. 10065, and by this boundary, and its production to and across the East Tamaki Main Road to a point 500 links from the south-eastern side of the said road ; thence by right lines parallel to and distant 500 links from the said road, Huia Road, and Kimptons Road to the boundary between Lots 9 and 10 of Allotment 18, Manurewa Parish ; thence by this boundary to and across Kimptons Road to the north-eastern corner of Lot 15, D.P. 19378, and by the eastern boundaries of the said Lot 15 and Lots 17 and 25, Hamilton Road, and Lot 26, D.P. 21522, to the point of commencement.
