Appointment of Issuing Officers for the Purpose of issuing Licenses to take or kill Imported Game and Native Game in the Rotorua Acclimatization District.
PURSUANT to the provisions of Condition No. 4 included under the heading “Rotorua Acclimatization District” in the Warrant dated the 2nd day of April, 1940, made under the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 29 of the 4th idem at page 608 et seq., declaring open seasons for the taking or killing of imported game and/or native game in the acclimatization districts specified in such Warrant, I, Joseph William Allen Heenan, Under-Secretary of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint—

The Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940.—Notice fixing Prices of certain Grades.

PURSUANT to Regulation 5 : 1 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices per bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons of fancy grade and commercial grade respectively delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period :—
Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st April to 30th April, 1940—

Revoking Warrants declaring that the Carriage of Passengers by Motor-vehicle shall be deemed to be a Passenger-service in certain Cases.
PURSUANT to section 16 of the Transport Licensing Amendment Act, 1936, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby revoke as spent the Warrants described in the Schedule hereto declaring that the carriage of passengers by motor-vehicle shall be deemed for the purposes of the Transport Licensing Act, 1931, to be a passenger-service within the meaning of the said Act.
