deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XI, Haast Survey District, for a Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute
a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road—
and for the purposes of such public work the land described
in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice
is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required
to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Haast Pass
Road and is there open for inspection; and that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or by the
taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send
such writing within forty days from the first publication of
this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block IV, Glenomaru Survey District, for a Recreation-ground.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the
land described in the Schedule hereto for a recreation-ground:
And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at
Kaka Point and is there open for inspection; and that all
persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if
they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such
land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing
within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to
the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Land vested in the Rangiora Borough Council Declared to be a Public Reserve.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 21st March, 1940.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was
passed by the Rangiora Borough Council, pursuant to
section 5 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National
Parks Act, 1928, on the 28th day of February, 1940, due
notice of intention to pass such resolution having been given
in terms of the said section and no objections thereto
received:—

"That the Rangiora Borough Council, pursuant to the
provisions of section 5 of the Public Reserves, Domains,
and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare all
that parcel of land containing 30 acres, more or less,
being Rural Section 2673, Block VI, Rangiora Survey
District, and being all the land comprised in certificate
of title, Vol. 384, folio 242, vested in it as and for a
recreation-ground for the people of Rangiora and its
neighbourhood, to be a public reserve within the meaning
of the said Act.'"
