Declaring Land acquired for a Government Work, and not required for that Purpose, to be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 3 roods 39·2 perches.

Being part Rural Section 4334.

Situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury R.D.).

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106116, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of March, 1940.

Additional Land taken for a Native School in Block XI, Whangape Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a Native school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 0 roods 11 perches.

Being portion of Whakakoro A No. 2 Block.

Situated in Block XI, Whangape Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 29783.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 100542, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of March, 1940.

Situated in Block XVI, Tokomaru Survey District. (S.O. 4067, blue.)

In the Gisborne Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 105262, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of March, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Arapuni Scheme, Maungatapere Substation-site); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the additional piece of land taken: 1 rood 20·6 perches. Being portion of Lot 4, D.P. 27731, being part Allotment 1 (Tirarau's Grant), Maungatapere Parish.

Situated in Block XIV, Purua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30855.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106412, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of March, 1940.
