IT is hereby notified that pursuant to clause 7 of the First Schedule to the British Nationality and Status of Aliens (in New Zealand) Act, 1928, and as a result of an inquiry in the Supreme Court, the Hon. Minister of Internal Affairs by an order dated the 9th day of January, 1940, has revoked the letters of naturalization granted to Cvitan Mustapich on the 26th day of January, 1904.

Notice to Persons affected by an Application for a License under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936.
Manufacture of Apple-juice.
NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been received from J. R. Butland Pty., Ltd., Wellington, for a license to engage in the industry of “the manufacture for sale of apple-juice.”
Any person who considers he will be materially affected by the decision of the Bureau in respect of this application and who wishes to make representations accordingly, must furnish such representations in writing so as to reach the undersigned not later than the 29th January, 1940.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.
Land in North Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.
North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office,
Auckland, 24th January, 1940.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned property is open for selection on renewable lease under the Land Act, 1924; and applications will be received at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Friday, 8th March, 1940.
Applicants should appear personally for examination at the North Auckland District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, 13th March, 1940, at 10 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.
Applicants are required to produce for inspection when examined documentary evidence of their financial position, such as bank pass-books, certificates or letters of credit from managers of banks, financial institutions, or mercantile firms, or from private persons or parents undertaking to give financial assistance. Persons undertaking to assist financially should state to what extent they are prepared to do so and supply guarantees of their own financial position.
The ballot will be held immediately upon conclusion of the examination of applicants, and the successful applicant is required to pay immediately at conclusion of ballot a deposit comprising the first half-year’s rent, broken-period rent, lease fee, and amount of weighting for improvements.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—SECOND-CLASS LAND.
Mangonui County.—Opoe Survey District.
(Exempt from payment of rent for three years.*)
SECTIONS 51 and 96, Block V: Area, 129 acres 0 roods 31 perches. Capital value, £130; half-yearly rent, £2 12s.
- Rental exemption is conditional on improvements to the value of £15 being effected annually during the concession period in addition to the usual requirements under the Land Act, 1924.
Weighted with £10 (payable in cash) for improvements, comprising 40 chains boundary fencing.
This property is situated on the old Waiharara Main Road, two miles from the Waiharara Post-office, and School, and fourteen miles and a half from Awanui Port. Access is by metal road for fourteen miles, thence sandy track from Awanui. It is watered by a swampy creek, while the soil varies from consolidated sandy loam to peat resting on sandstone. About half the area is flat with small swampy gullies, while the balance is higher table land. About 10 acres of swamp have been badly burnt. Suitable as a dairying proposition.

Applicants should appear personally for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Gisborne, on Friday, 8th March, 1940, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., but if any applicant is unable to attend he may be examined by any other Land Board or by any Commissioner of Crown Lands.

This property, which is regarded as unsuitable as a separate farming unit, is situated on the Huanui Road, between the Huanui and Hokoroa Stations, about 18 miles from Tolaga Bay. It comprises fairly broken hill country at one time in grass, but now reverted to second growth. Soil is of a fairly light nature with a pumiceous clay and papa formation.

Hawke’s Bay County.—Pohui Survey District.
SECTION 30, Block XIV: Area, 11 acres 3 roods 16 perches. Upset price, £50.*
- Upset price includes the value of 40 chains of old fencing, in a bad state of repair.
This section comprises easy country, broken by two swampy creeks, it is easily ploughable, and the soil is light pumice loam. Climate is extremely cold in winter.
