THE APPLE AND PEAR MARKETING REGULATIONS 1940.

NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of the Regulations Act, 1936, of the making of the above-entitled regulations under the above-entitled Acts.

Serial number: 1940/30.

Date of enactment: 22nd day of February, 1940.

Copies can be purchased at the Government Printing and Stationery Office, Lambton Quay, Wellington. Price for cash with order 3d., plus postage 1d. extra. Prices for quantities supplied on application. Copies may be ordered by quoting above serial number.

The Apple and Pear Marketing Regulations 1940.—Prices and Grading Notice.

PURSUANT to the Apple and Pear Marketing Regulations 1940, I hereby fix the following prices to be paid for apples and pears delivered to the Marketing Department under the said regulations:—

APPLES.

And in further pursuance of the said regulations and for the purpose of assessing prices to be paid as aforesaid I hereby establish the following grades of apples—namely, Extra Fancy, Fancy, and Commercial—and the following grades of pears—namely, Fancy and Commercial—and declare that the grading standards of the said grades shall be as follows:—
