Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Street, in the Borough of Morrinsville.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was acquired for the Waikato-Thames Railway and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become street, and that such street shall be maintained by the Morrinsville Borough Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 1·3 perches. Being part Railway land in Proclamation 6236.

Situated in Block VI, Maungakawa Survey District (Borough of Morrinsville), (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30662.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 106933, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of December, 1940.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block VII, Clifford Bay Survey District, taken for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken for a further portion of the Picton–Hurunui Railway (Awatere Section) and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with: 16·9 perches. Being Railway land.

Situated in Block VII, Clifford Bay Survey District (Wakefield Downs R.D.). (S.O. R 536/79.)

In the Marlborough Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108350, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of December, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road.

SCHEDULE.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of December, 1940.
