Land in Town District of Kaitaia taken for Railway Purposes.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the New Zealand Government Railways to take land in the Kaitaia Town District for railway purposes (Road Motor Services) :

Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by section eleven of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6336, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of December, 1940.

Defining the Middle-line of a Road in Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a road desired to be constructed over Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

COMMENCING at a point on Redoubt Road near the north-eastern corner of part Clendon’s Grant (C.T. 530/1) and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 1 mile 26 chains and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., part Clendon’s Grant (A.2.65), part Clendon’s Grant (C.T. 530/1), Lot 2, D.P. 23951 (C.T. 723/276), Lot 2, D.P. 3825 (C.T. 477/192), Lot 3, D.P.24279 (C.T. 638/15), being parts Clendon’s Grant—and terminating at a point on Ranfurley Road near the south-western corner of the said Lot 3, D.P. 24279, including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses ; all in the North Auckland Land District. As the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 109544, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of December, 1940.
