WAIRERE ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.
RESOLUTION AMENDING SPECIAL RATE.
WHEREAS on the 12th day of October, 1938, a resolution was duly passed by the Wairere Electric-power Board making a special rate of seven-sixteenths of a penny (7/16d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Wairere Electric-power District, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of fourteen thousand pounds (£14,000), authorized to be raised by the Wairere Electric-power Board for the purpose of the further reticulation of the said Wairere Electric-power District and for carrying out such other works, undertakings, and purposes authorized as aforesaid:
And whereas on the 20th day of December, 1939, a resolution was duly passed by the said Board amending the said special rate by increasing such amount of seven-sixteenths of a penny in the pound to one-hundred-and-thirteen-two-hundredths of a penny in the pound.
