Additional Land at Paekakariki taken for the Purposes of
the Wellington-Foxton Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Foxton
Railway to take further land at Paekakariki in addition to
land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by
sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the
Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and
authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 4 acres 1 rood
32 perches.
Part Lot 2, D.P. 2184, part Subdivisions 1E and 2A No. 1,
Paekakariki Native Reserve ; coloured orange.
Situated in Block III, Paekakariki Survey District, Hutt
County. (S.O. 20586.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6320,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of
November, 1940.

Crown Land set apart for the Development of Water-power
(Hamilton No. 2 Substation-site) in Block XIV, Komakorau
Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development
of water-power (Hamilton No. 2 Substation-site); and I do
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine
hundred and forty.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of Crown land set apart :-
A. R. P. Being
0 0 14.65 Part Allotment 304, Kirikiriroa Parish;
coloured blue.
0 0 18.64 Part Allotment 223A, Kirikiriroa Parish;
0 3 12.05 coloured red.
Situated in Block XIV, Komakorau Survey District
(Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30836.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108061,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 18th day of
November, 1940.
