IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for a public school.

Cancelling the Reservation over Part of a Reserve in Town of Pembroke, Otago Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 5th day of November, 1940.

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation for the use of the Stock Department over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Mackenzie County Council.*

GALWAY, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of November, 1940.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was acquired in part exchange for an area reserved as a site for a gravel-pit under the authority of an Order in Council dated the sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and two, and published in Gazette of the ninth day of that month, the said Order in Council having been issued pursuant to the provisions of section four of the Public Reserves Act, 1881, and section three of the Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889:

And whereas on completion of such exchange the said land became vested in the Mount Peel Road Board but is now vested in the Mackenzie County Council, in trust, as a site for a gravel-pit:

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Mackenzie County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Mackenzie County Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

RESERVE 3592, Block XII, Tengawai Survey District: Area, 1 acre, more or less.
