Crown Land set apart as Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those areas in the Canterbury Land District, Ashley and Kowai Counties, containing 115 acres 2 roods 39·2 perches, more or less, situated in Block XIV, Grey Survey District, and being formerly public roads closed by a Proclamation dated 21st March, 1940, and published in Gazette No. 30 of 4th April, 1940, at page 640, and described as follows:—
Approximate areas of the pieces of Crown land:—
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
3 3 10 Lot 1, D.P. 11485, being part Rural Sections 4943 and 37081.
2 1 30·4 Rural Sections 8871, 32238, 32292, and 33320.
109 1 38·8 Lot 1, D.P. 11485, being part Rural Sections 1926, 33319, and 37081; Lots 3 and 4, D.P. 1868, being part Rural Section 37081; Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 2660, being part Rural Sections 33261 and 33366, and parts Rural Sections 5654, 8108, 15214, 33221, 33261, 33366, 33378, 33382, 33530, 33531, 35553, and 37081.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 136/3, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green. (S.O. plan 7107.)

Crown Land in Canterbury Land District set apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing by admeasurement 3 roods 9·6 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4196, situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/438c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1940.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Crown Land in the Canterbury Land District for Selection by Discharged Soldiers under Ordinary Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto, the Proclamation made on the twenty-fourth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, at page 292, setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.—CROWN LAND.
Part Small Grazing Run No. 36861, Blocks I, II, V, VI, VII, IX, X, and XI, Pukaki West Survey District: Area, 16,368 acres 3 roods 31 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of November, 1940.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Tautuku Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 2 roods 13 perches.
Being portion of Section 39, Block VIII, Tautuku Survey District. (S.O. plan 9204.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/700n, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2881, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 5th day of November, 1940.
