Crown Land set apart for the Foxton–New Plymouth Railway
(Waiongona–Normanby Section) in Block V, Huiroa Survey
District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the Foxton–
New Plymouth Railway (Waiongona–Normanby Section);
and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the eleventh day of November, one thousand
nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart:
31·05 perches.
Being closed road adjoining or passing through Railway
land.

Situated in Block V, Huiroa Survey District (Taranaki
R.D.). (S.O. 7835.)

In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 104198,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of
October, 1940.

Defining the Middle-lines of Roads in Block XIII, East Taieri
Survey District—viz., Deviations of the Dunedin–Duke’s
Road Railway-station Main Highway.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the middle-lines of roads desired
to be constructed over Block XIII, East Taieri Survey
District—viz., deviations of the Dunedin–Duke’s Road
Railway-station Main Highway—shall be those defined
and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

FIRST commencing at a point on the north-western boundary
of Section 12, Block XIII, East Taieri Survey District, and
proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally
for a distance of approximately 1120·4 links and passing in,
into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Section
12, Block XIII, East Taieri Survey District—and terminating
at a point on the south-western boundary of Section 12,
Block XIII, East Taieri District; secondly, commencing
at a point on the middle-line first described herein and pro-
ceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally for a
distance of approximately 240 links and passing in, into,
through, or over the following lands &c.—viz., Section 12,
Block XIII, East Taieri Survey District—and terminating
at a point on the north-western boundary of Section 12,
Block XIII, East Taieri Survey District; including all
adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads,
tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the
Otago Land District. As the same are delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 109089, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of
October, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a Native school; and I
do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and
after the eleventh day of November, one thousand nine
hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres.
Being part Mataikona No. 1e Block, Block XII, Aohanga
Survey District. (S.O. 20507.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 107195,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of
October, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and
section thirty-two of the Statutes Amendment Act, 1936,
and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling
me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and
I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on
and after the eleventh day of November, one thousand
nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood.
Being part Suburban Section 32, Town of Wanganui.

(Situated in Block V, Westmere Survey District (City of
Wanganui). (S.O. 20573.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108280,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of
October, 1940.
