CORRIGENDUM.
In the Southland and Otago Cheese Crates Order 1940 (Gazette No. 109, 31st October, 1940, page 2789), in clause 6, for the words “engaged either or partly in the manufacture of cheese” read “engaged either wholly or partly in the manufacture of cheese.”

Additional Land near Silverhope taken for the Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway, and for Road-diversion in connection therewith.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land near Silverhope in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for road-diversion in connection therewith :
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Situated in Block VI, Ongo Survey District, Rangitikei County. (S.O. 20555.)
In the Wellington Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6308, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of October, 1940.

Allocating Railway Land to the Purposes of a Road in Block V, Huiroa Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the piece of land described in the Schedule hereto (which was taken for a further portion of the Foxton—New Plymouth Railway, Waiongona—Normanby Section, and which is no longer required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Main Highways Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land dealt with : 33·57 perches.
Being portion of Railway land.
Situated in Block V, Huiroa Survey District. (S.O. 7835.)
In the Taranaki Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 104198, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day of October, 1940.
