IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section three hundred and fifty-nine of the Land Act, 1924, and section seventy-one of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby temporarily reserve the lands in the Auckland, Wellington, Nelson, Westland, and Otago Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written for the purposes specified in the said Schedule.

Amending the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces.

AMENDMENT No. 51.

GALWAY, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Defence Act, 1909, and its amendments, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend in the manner and to the extent set forth in the Schedule hereto the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces, published in the Gazette dated the sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-five.

SCHEDULE.

  1. This regulation may be cited as the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces, 1925, Amendment No. 51.

  2. This regulation shall be read together with and form part of the Financial Instructions and Allowance Regulations for the New Zealand Military Forces, 1925 (hereinafter called “the principal regulations”).

  3. The principal regulations are amended by inserting therein next after Regulation 129D, the following additional regulation and heading:—

“ACCOMMODATION WHEN TRAVELLING.

“129E. Members of the N.Z. Army Nursing Service shall, when travelling on duty, be entitled to the same class of railway and steamer accommodation as by these regulations is prescribed for officers of the Territorial Force.”
