NOTICE is hereby given that, as from the expiry of
three months, Brunner, Mond, and Company
(Australasia) Proprietary, Limited, A.P.A. Building, Grey
Street, Wellington, and Maritime Building, Quay Street,
Auckland, will cease to have a place of business in the
Dominion of New Zealand.

September, 1940, by Imperial Chemical Industries (N.Z.),
Limited, at the same addresses in Wellington and Auckland.

LOWER CLUTHA RIVER TRUST.

INCHCLUTHA SPECIAL RATING AREA FOR LOCK LOAN, 1940.

THE area herein described shall be a special rating area
within the Board's district for the purpose of meeting
interest and sinking fund on a Lock Loan of Β£700.
The aforesaid area shall commence at the southern boundary
on Section 4, Block XIII, on the left-hand bank of the
Koau Branch of the Clutha River and proceed in a south-
easterly direction along the left bank of the Koau Branch
of the Clutha River to the southern boundary of Section 9,
Block I, but excluding Section 11, Block V; thence in an
easterly direction along the southern boundaries of Sections 9,
8, 7, 6, 5, and 4, Block I; thence from the south-eastern
boundary of Section 4; thence from a line drawn in a
northerly direction intersecting Sections 3, 2, and 1, Block I;
to a point 10 chains south of the northern boundary of
Section 1, Block I; thence generally in a north-westerly
direction along the right bank of the Matau River to a point
16 chains north of the southern boundary of Section 8,
Block III; thence by a straight line due north for 9 chains;
thence due east by a straight line to a point joining the
main highway at the corners of Sections 7 and 5, Block IV;
thence along the northern boundary of Section 5, Block IV;
to the Matau River; thence up along the right-hand bank
of the Matau River to a point approximately 18 chains north
of the southern boundary of Section 7, Block VI; thence by a
straight line north-west to the right bank of the Matau
River to a point 10 chains from the north-western boundary
of Section 7, Block VI; thence by the right bank Matau
River to a point approximately 6 chains north of the south-
eastern boundary, Section 3, Block VIII; thence by a straight
line from this point across Sections 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8, to a
point 8 chains south-east of the north-western boundary of
Section 8; thence by the right bank of the Matau River
to a point 4 chains north of the south-western boundary of
Section 10, Block X; thence by a straight line across the
said Section 10 to a point 33 chains from the north-western
corner of Section 10, Block X; thence up to the right bank
of the Matau River to the southern boundary of Section 9,
Block XII; thence for 8 chains approximately along boundary
between Sections 8 and 9; thence 8 chains in a north-easterly
direction; thence 12 chains in a north-westerly direction;
thence 9 chains in a south-westerly direction to a point on
the boundary between Sections 8 and 9; thence along the
boundary between Sections 8 and 9 for a distance of 10 chains
to the right bank of the Matau River; thence along the
said right-hand bank of the Matau River to the most northerly
corner of Section 2, Block XIII; thence along the north-
western boundary of Section 2, Block XIII; thence south-
east along the road-line for 4 chains to the most northerly
corner of Section 4, Block XIII, and thence by a straight
line across Section 4 to the south-western corner of Section 4,
Block XIII.

31st October, 1940, at 10 a.m.

NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in the minute-
book, in pursuance of section 300 (1) of the Companies
Act, 1933, and dated the 8th day of October, 1940, the
following special resolution as passed :β€”
"That, it having been proved to the satisfaction of
the shareholders that the company cannot by reason of
its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable
to wind up, the company would be wound up accordingly.
"That KENNETH BOLTON, of Wellington, Accountant,
be, and is hereby appointed liquidator for the purpose of
such winding up."
All persons or companies having claims against the company
are required to send full particulars to the undersigned on or
before the 8th day of November, 1940, as otherwise they may
be excluded from participation in any distribution of assets.

Limited, which is being wound up voluntarily, doth
hereby fix the 7th day of November, 1940, as the day on or
before which the creditors of the company are to prove
their debts or claims, and to establish any title they may
have to priority under section 258 of the Act, or to be excluded
from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts
are proved, or, as the case may be, from objecting to such
distribution.
