ments of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force:—

GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH.

Promotion.

Flying Officer Trevor Owen Freeman to be Acting Flight
Lieutenant. Dated 8th September, 1940.

Appointments.

The undermentioned are granted temporary commissions
in the Reserve of Officers, Section I, Class A, in the ranks
as shown. Dated 1st September, 1940:—

Oscar Garden to be Flight Lieutenant, with seniority
from the 1st September, 1937.
Flight Lieutenant Christopher Griffiths, R.A.F.O., in the
rank of Flight Lieutenant, with seniority from the
1st September, 1940.
Charles Ayrey McDonald is granted a temporary commission
in the rank of Flying Officer in the Reserve of Officers,
Section II, Class A, with seniority from the 1st Septem-
ber, 1937.

Alfred John Calder is granted an Honorary Commission

said Act.
