Invercargill–Riverton.—All that main highway in the Counties of Southland and Wallace and the Riverton Borough, declared as the Invercargill–Riverton Main Highway, described in Orders in Council dated 9th June, 1924, and 10th October, 1928, and published in the Gazette on 12th June, 1924, and 11th October, 1928, respectively.
Tuatapere–Orepuki.—All that main highway in the Wallace County, declared as the Tuatapere–Orepuki Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated 7th September, 1925, and published in the Gazette on 10th September, 1925.
Riverton–Orepuki.—All that main highway in the Wallace County, declared as the Riverton–Orepuki Main Highway, described in Orders in Council dated 2nd April, 1928, and 30th September, 1929, and published in the Gazette on 5th April, 1928, and 3rd October, 1929, respectively.
Willowbank–Waikaka.—All that main highway in the Southland County, declared as the Willowbank–Waikaka Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated 10th February, 1926, and published in the Gazette on 25th February, 1926.
Waikaka – Matheson’s Corner via Kelso.—All that main highway in the Southland County, declared as the Waikaka–Matheson’s Corner via Kelso Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated 2nd April, 1928, and published in the Gazette on 5th April, 1928.
Lumsden–Kingston.—All that main highway in the Southland County, declared as the Lumsden–Kingston Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated 2nd April, 1928, and published in the Gazette on 5th April, 1928.

Mataura – Wyndham.—All that main highway in the Mataura Borough, Southland County, and Wyndham Town District, declared as the Mataura–Wyndham Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated 2nd April, 1928, and published in the Gazette on 5th April, 1928.

Edendale – Seaward Downs.—All that main highway in the Southland County, declared as the Edendale – Seaward Downs Main Highway, described in Order in Council dated 9th June, 1924, and published in the Gazette on 12th June, 1924.

HIGHWAY DISTRICT NO. 1.
Kaiwaka–Mangawai.—All that road or portion of road in Otamatea County, commencing at the junction with the Birkenhead–Maungaturoto Main Highway at the north-eastern corner of Section 135, Block III, Otamatea Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction and terminating at a point opposite the southern end of the Kaiwaka Railway-station, being a distance of 1 mile, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107323, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, thereon coloured black, and marked A–B.
Mangawai–Tomorata.—All that road or portion of road in Otamatea County, commencing at the junction with the Kaiwaka–Mangawai Main Highway at Mangawai and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction and terminating at the Mangawai Bridge at the Rodney County Northern boundary, being a distance of 37 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 71489, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.
Waipapakauri–Awanui.—All that road or portion of road in Mangonui County, commencing at the Waipapakauri Post-office and proceeding thence generally in an easterly and then southerly direction and terminating at its junction with the Whangarei–Awanui via Kawakawa Main Highway at the entrance to the dairy factory at Awanui, being a distance of 2 miles 24 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107322, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, thereon coloured green, and marked A–B.
Whangarei–Awanui via Kawakawa.—All that road or portion of road in the Counties of Whangarei, Bay of Islands, Hokianga, and Mangonui, but excluding those portions of roads in the Town Districts of Kamo, Hikurangi, and Kaitaia, commencing at the northern boundary of Whangarei Borough and proceeding thence generally in a northerly and north-westerly direction and terminating opposite the entrance to the dairy factory at Awanui, being a distance of 99 miles 44 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107322, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in Kamo Town District, commencing at the Kamo Town District southern boundary and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction and terminating at the Kamo Town District northern boundary where the road crosses the Railway reserve near the Ruatangata Railway-station, being a distance of 1 mile 42 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107490, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.
Also all those streets or portions of streets in Hikurangi Town District, commencing at the junction with the Hikurangi to Jordan Road at the Hikurangi Town District southern boundary and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction via George Street and King Street and terminating at the Hikurangi Town District northern boundary, being a distance of 2 miles 16 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107492, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Also all that street or portion of street in Kaitaia Town District, commencing at the Kaitaia Town District south-eastern boundary and proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly and then northerly direction via Commerce Street and terminating at the Kaitaia Town District northern boundary, being a distance of 2 miles 2 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107489, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured black.
Lake Omapere – Kaikohe.—All that road or portion of road in the Bay of Islands County, commencing at its junction with the Whangarei–Awanui via Kawakawa Main Highway at the north-eastern corner of Kaimore Block in Block XII, Omapere Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction and terminating at its junction with the Waimamaku–Ohaeawai Main Highway near the southern corner of Section 5s, Te Pua Settlement, Block XV, Omapere Survey District, being a distance of 4 miles 60 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 107322, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
