Portion of Road closed in the Town of Pembroke, Lake County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in Lake County described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 roods 29 perches.
Adjoining Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, and 14, Block XVI, and Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block XIX, Town of Pembroke (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9167.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108611, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of October, 1940.

Land set apart as an Endowment for Primary Education.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by subsection nine of section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the land comprised in the pieces of closed road described in the First Schedule hereto, being land which is adjacent to the endowment for primary education described in the Second Schedule hereto, shall be deemed to be added to the said endowment.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

SECTIONS 50 and 52, Block XV, Kaupokonui Survey District : Area, 1 rood 2 perches, more or less.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 3 acres 0 roods 12·3 perches, more or less, being portions of Section 48, Block XV, Kaupokonui Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 23/360c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of October, 1940.

Crown Land set apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—HENDERSON TOWN DISTRICT.

ALL that area containing by admeasurement 2 roods 3-5 perches, more or less, situated in Block II, Titirangi Survey District, being Lots 8 and 9 of the plan numbered 20253, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland, and being parts of Allotment 90, Waikomiti Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 26/5740 "A," deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of October, 1940.

Crown Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST- CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, Rotorua County, containing by admeasurement 832 acres 3 roods 5 perches, more or less, and being Sections 3 and 4, Block II, Rotoma Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 31/l, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of October, 1940.
