NOTICE OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION TO WIND UP.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of THE TRADERS FINANCE CORPORATION (WHOLESALE), LIMITED.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at British Chambers, High Street, Auckland, on the 12th day of September, 1940, the following special resolution was duly passed :—

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that GEORGE BERTRAM WATTS, of Auckland, Company-manager, be appointed liquidator for the purposes of the winding up.”

AUCKLAND EDUCATION BOARD.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

Under the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Education Board of the District of Auckland intends to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of a public school, the following land—namely, all that piece of land situated in the Auckland Land District containing four (4) acres and one (1) perch, more or less, being part of Section 24 of Block I, Waihou Survey District.

A plan of the land is deposited at the post-office at Ngatea and is there open for inspection by all persons at all reasonable hours.

All persons affected are hereby required and called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land and to send such writing within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Education Board of the District of Auckland at its office in Wellesley Street, Auckland.

HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

EXTRACT from the minutes of the Hawke’s Bay County Council :—

“ On the motion of the Chairman, seconded by Cr. Tucker, it was resolved that a special rate of five forty-fourths of a penny (⁵⁄₄₄d.) in the pound be struck on the basis of the capital value on all rateable value in the County of Hawke’s Bay, as security for a loan of £5,000 authorized to be raised for the purposes of the Rural Housing Act, 1939.”

I hereby certify the above to be a true copy of the minutes of the Hawke’s Bay County Council, dated 9th September, 1940.
