Leasehold Interest in Land taken for Road in Block IV,
Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the estate of leasehold in the land described in the Schedule hereto (held from His Majesty the King by Frederick Laurence Steed under and by virtue of Renewable Lease, Volume 486, folio 121, Auckland Registry) is hereby taken for road ; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land in respect of which the estate of leasehold is taken :—

A. R. P. Being Portion of
0 1 0·5 Section 3s, Kopuku No. 2 Settlement ; coloured red :
0 0 35 Section 3s, Kopuku No. 2 Settlement ; coloured red, edged red.

Situated in Block IV, Maramarua Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30286.)

In the Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108596, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of September, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Gillespies Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road : 50 acres.

Being Crown land, situated in Blocks IX, X, XIV, and XV, Gillespies Survey District (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 4205.)

In the Westland Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 107876, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of September, 1940.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land in Drury Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto ; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as road : 2 acres 2 roods 21 perches.

Being portion of Lot 3, D.P. 9285, being part Allotment 22, Parish of Karaka ; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 2 acres 3 roods 25 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Lot 3, D.P. 9285, being part Allotment 22, Parish of Karaka ; coloured green.

All situated in Block II, Drury Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 30931.)

All in the North Auckland Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 108576, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
