Additional Land near Utiku taken for the Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land near Utiku in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, George Vere Arundell, Viscount Galway, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirty-four and two hundred and sixteen of the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 3 roods 30 perches. Part Awarua 4c 9, Block VI, Hautapu Survey District, Rangitikei County. (S.O. 20541.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6249, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of September, 1940.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land at Taumarunui in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway, and to take land for street-diversion in connection therewith:

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 6246, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green and red.
