WELLINGTON, TUESDAY, AUGUST 22, 1939.
Declaring a Bobby Calf Marketing Pool Area.
PURSUANT to the Bobby Calf Marketing Regulations 1939, I, William Lee Martin, acting for the Minister of Marketing, being satisfied that a sufficient majority of the producers in the area of land defined in the Schedule hereto are desirous that such area should be declared to be a pool area for the marketing of bobby calves, do hereby declare such area of land defined as aforesaid, to be a bobby calf marketing pool area for the purposes of the said regulations under the name set out in the said Schedule, and I do hereby further declare that this notice shall take effect on the 29th day of August, 1939.
SCHEDULE.
BANKS PENINSULA BOBBY CALF MARKETING POOL AREA.
All that area of land lying entirely within the Counties of Wairewa and Akaroa and bounded by a line commencing at the point where the boundary-line between the Counties of Akaroa and Mount Herbert meets Big Bay on the northern foreshore of Banks Peninsula; thence continuing along the said boundary-line in a southerly direction to the point where it meets Trig. Station No. FF 32152; thence from this point taking a straight line across country to meet Trig. Station No. KK 35075; thence from this point continuing a straight line across country in a southerly direction to meet Trig. Station No. D 6643 at Birdling's Flat; thence from this point continuing a line in a like direction to meet the southern foreshore of the peninsula; thence continuing along the said foreshore of the peninsula in an easterly, thence in a northerly, and thence in a westerly direction to the point where it meets the boundary-line between the Mount Herbert and Akaroa Counties at Big Bay, the original point of commencement.
